# How do I connect marketing data to chatobserver?

> Connect marketing accounts, choose the right data source, and use connected results alongside AI visibility reporting.

Open **Data** to connect supported marketing accounts and build reusable queries from their results. Connected data can complement AI visibility reporting with search, analytics, advertising, commerce, or CRM information.

## Choose the account deliberately

Start with the question you want to answer. Search Console data can help you investigate search performance; analytics data can help you review site visits and engagement; advertising data can help you examine campaign delivery.

Select the connector offered in your workspace and follow its connection flow. Sign in with an account that has access to the intended property or advertising account, then select that resource. Permission to sign in to a provider does not necessarily grant access to every account it manages.

## Confirm the selected source

Review the connected identity, property, and available accounts before creating queries. When you manage clients, confirm both the destination workspace and the source account to avoid mixing reporting contexts.

The connection catalogue identifies availability. A listed connector may require workspace access or a provider authorisation before it can be used.

## Build a reusable result

Use the Explorer to choose fields, filters, and a date range, then preview the result. [Save a query](/docs/data/queries) when you want to reuse it in Reports or schedule future refreshes.

If a provider asks you to reconnect, complete that flow using the account that owns the required access. Do not paste provider credentials into report text or support messages.
