# How do I add multiple monitoring prompts at once?

> Paste a list of questions or upload a CSV, review prompt defaults, and import a monitoring set into chatobserver.

Use **Bulk add prompts** on the Prompts tab to paste a list of questions or upload a CSV. The import lets you review the questions and their shared defaults before creating them.

## Prepare the questions

Write one complete monitoring question per row. Remove blank entries and accidental duplicates. Keep separate questions separate: combining several unrelated requests into one prompt makes the resulting answer harder to compare.

If you use CSV, follow the column format shown in the upload dialog. Review the parsed rows before submitting, particularly when a question contains commas, quotation marks, or line breaks.

## Import the set

1. Open **Prompts** in the destination workspace.
2. Open bulk import and choose paste or CSV upload.
3. Set the default platforms, regions, and schedule for the imported prompts.
4. Review the rows and correct any validation errors.
5. Submit the import and read the completion result.

The dialog displays the supported batch size. Split a larger list into batches rather than exceeding that limit. If an import stops or partially completes, inspect the result before resubmitting so you do not recreate successful rows.

## Review after import

Confirm the prompts are in the intended workspace and have the intended schedule. Use [groups and personas](/docs/workspace/groups-and-personas) to organise them. Run a small selection and [inspect the answers](/docs/analysis/answer-history) before expanding the whole monitoring programme.
