# How do I schedule or pause AI visibility monitoring?

> Choose a prompt monitoring schedule, time zone, and cadence, or pause a prompt without deleting it.

Set a prompt's schedule in the prompt editor. Choose a recurring cadence to collect comparable answers over time, or choose **Manual** to run the prompt only when your team requests it.

## Set a schedule

1. Open the prompt and edit its schedule.
2. Choose the available cadence that fits your reporting needs.
3. Set the time and time zone. For a weekly schedule, select the relevant weekday or days.
4. Save the prompt and review its next scheduled run.

Use the time zone of the team or market that owns the monitoring programme. Review the scheduled time after changing the time zone; the same clock time in another zone represents a different moment.

## Pause rather than delete

Pause a prompt when you want to stop recurring collection and keep its configuration for later. Resume it when the question becomes relevant again. Archiving removes a prompt from the normal active view. Deletion is a separate destructive action.

Changing a schedule does not create historical answers for dates before monitoring began. For a current answer outside the schedule, use **Run now** and review its status before requesting another run.

## Choose a sustainable cadence

Daily monitoring can support regular trend reporting; a weekly cadence may suit a smaller research programme. More frequent collection does not make an individual answer more reliable.
