# How can an AI assistant organise prompts into groups?

> Analyse groups, apply grouping opportunities, manage prompt membership, and preview or configure grouping rules safely.

Groups help you compare related prompts, such as a campaign, market, product line or stage of the buyer journey. The connector can analyse groups and, for workspace owners and admins, manage their structure and membership.

## Analyse all groups

Ask for a group overview to compare:

* prompt coverage across groups;
* visibility and other available performance measures;
* suggested grouping opportunities; and
* the current grouping rules.

You can choose a reporting period and ask the assistant to separate active groups from archived ones.

## Analyse one group

For a selected group, the assistant can examine:

* visibility and sentiment;
* the prompts in the group;
* cited sources;
* mentioned competitors; and
* supporting answers.

Large source, competitor and evidence tables can be continued page by page.

Example:

> Compare our “Problem aware” and “Vendor comparison” groups over the last 30 days. Explain the biggest visibility and sentiment differences, then show the answers behind those differences.

## Create and edit groups

Owners and admins can ask the assistant to:

* create a group after checking for an existing group with the same purpose;
* change its name, description, type or parent relationship where supported;
* archive or restore a group; and
* add or remove several prompts in one change.

The assistant reads the group’s latest version before editing so it does not overwrite a newer change.

## Apply grouping opportunities

Chatobserver may identify prompts that appear suitable for a new group. The assistant can show the suggested prompts and then either:

* create or reuse a user-named group and add the prompts; or
* dismiss the opportunity.

Ask to review the suggested prompt names before applying the opportunity.

## Preview a grouping rule

A rule can automatically group future matching prompts. Before creating or changing one, the assistant can preview:

* which current prompts match the proposed criteria; and
* whether those matches conflict with manual group membership.

The preview changes nothing. The assistant uses the returned preview when it creates the reviewed rule.

## Create, pause or archive grouping rules

Owners and admins can ask the assistant to create a reviewed rule, change its criteria, activate or pause it, and archive it. Changed matching criteria should be previewed again before saving.

Current limitation: grouping rules do not reorganise prompts that already exist. They apply prospectively. To correct existing prompts, ask the assistant to add or remove those prompts from the group directly.
