  • Work directly with founders to translate market feedback and research findings into product decisions.
  • Define the product direction for new capability areas before they are built, not after.
  • Hold the quality bar across the product and push back when implementation does not match intent.

  • A track record of making hard prioritization calls and defending them clearly.
  • Strong technical intuition — enough to understand system tradeoffs and hold engineers accountable.
