Referral Program Terms
These terms govern invite-only referral activity for Chatobserver. They are meant to keep attribution, promotion, and payouts clear while the program remains small and manually reviewed.

1. Eligibility
Chatobserver may approve referral partners at its discretion. Approval can be limited to invite-only participants and may be withdrawn at any time if traffic quality, compliance, or customer fit falls below our standards.
2. Qualified referrals
A qualified referral is a new customer account that signs up through an approved referral channel and completes a paid subscription purchase. Existing workspaces, existing billing accounts, self-referrals, fraudulent activity, or unpaid invoices do not qualify.
3. Attribution
We may attribute referrals using referral links, first-party cookies, promotion codes, or manual review. Where multiple attribution signals exist, Chatobserver may apply a precedence order or manually determine the correct source.
4. Commission and payouts
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, commissions are calculated on net subscription revenue actually collected by Chatobserver, after discounts and excluding taxes. Payouts are reviewed manually and may be subject to a hold period before payment.
5. Reversals and exclusions
Chatobserver may reverse, withhold, or void commission for refunds, chargebacks, disputed payments, duplicate accounts, abusive traffic, coupon misuse, or any promotion that violates these terms or applicable law.
6. Promotion restrictions
Partners may not misrepresent their relationship with Chatobserver, impersonate the company, send spam, create deceptive landing pages, or bid on branded search terms if prohibited by Chatobserver. Coupon directory syndication or discount-site posting may be restricted or disallowed.
7. Disclosure
Partners must clearly disclose their financial relationship with Chatobserver whenever required by law or platform policy, including social posts, newsletters, videos, and other public endorsements.
8. Program changes
We may update, pause, or terminate the referral program and may modify commission terms, payout timing, or eligibility requirements with reasonable notice when practical.
