Use Automation and delivery in Data to schedule saved queries and configure destinations for completed results. A refresh collects data; a delivery sends the resulting data to a configured destination.

Schedule a saved query

Select the query, choose the cadence and time zone, and review the next scheduled runs. Make sure its source connection is active and the query returns the expected result before enabling the schedule. Source data can arrive later than the day it describes. Choose a refresh cadence that fits the provider’s reporting behaviour and your reporting deadline, rather than assuming every source updates continuously.

Deliver results to another tool

Create a destination using the supported options, configure the target resource, and grant the requested access. Bind the query to that destination and inspect the delivery result after a successful run. Check the target table, sheet, or other resource before using it in a downstream report. A successful query does not, by itself, establish a successful delivery.

Pause and recover

Pause schedules or transfers when recurring work is no longer needed. Historical backfills cover a chosen past date range without requiring you to change the saved query’s ordinary reporting period. For API-controlled workflows, use operations and webhooks to follow completion, failures, and result availability. Keep query execution and destination delivery states distinct in your integration.
