Read the original answer first. If the platform did not mention your brand, the absence is part of the observed result. If the answer clearly names your brand but the report does not, investigate matching, filters, and analysis status.

Check the answer and brand identity

Look for the company name, a trading name, an abbreviation, or a product name. Confirm that the workspace’s brand name and primary domain represent the brand you are monitoring. Review aliases where the business is commonly known by another name. A domain citation and a brand mention are separate signals. An answer can link to your website without naming your brand, or name your brand without linking to it.

Check the selected data

Confirm the workspace, platform, region, date range, and prompt group. An answer outside the selected window will not explain the current metric. Pending or failed analysis can also prevent a collected answer from contributing to the expected view.

If the brand really is absent

Review the competitors that appear and the sources cited. Ask whether the question reflects your actual category and audience. Keep the result as an observation rather than changing the prompt solely to force a mention. Use prompt selection, competitor analysis, and source citations to plan the next investigation.
