Create a workspace for your brand, add the questions you want to monitor, and collect answers from your selected AI platforms. chatobserver organises those answers into brand visibility, competitor, sentiment, and source views so you can see where your brand appears and investigate why. AI search tracking starts with a set of questions. It measures the answers collected for those questions, platforms, regions, and dates. It does not measure every conversation people have with an AI assistant.
Overview showing share of voice and visibility trends

Example workspace: compare visibility over a consistent date range.

Start with one brand and a focused set of questions

  1. Create a workspace using your brand name and primary website domain.
  2. Choose monitoring questions that reflect the products, services, and comparisons your prospective customers care about.
  3. Add your first prompt, choose its platforms and regions, and run it.
  4. Open the answer from Prompts to review the wording, brand mentions, and cited sources.
  5. Set a monitoring schedule to build a comparable history.
Use unbranded questions to test discovery, comparison questions to study competitors, and branded questions to examine how AI describes your business. Keep these groups separate when interpreting the results.

Read the evidence before changing your strategy

A visibility increase is more useful when you can explain which questions changed. Open the underlying answers and look for changes in recommendations, competitor presence, and citations. A brand mention, a favourable description, and a link to your website are different signals. Start with visibility and share of voice, then explore sentiment and source citations.
