Brand Visibility

Brand Visibility tracks how often your domains—and the competitors you care about—surface inside AI-generated answers. The card lives on the Overview tab, but this page dives deeper into the methodology.

Metrics

  • Run share – Percentage of prompt runs mentioning the domain during the selected window.
  • Mention volume – Raw citation count pulled from prompt runs.
  • Sentiment velocity – Directional change in sentiment across runs.
  • Leaderboard position – Rank of each domain compared to competitors.

Switch metrics using the toggle group in the card header. The selection is sticky per user.

Chart

  • Stacked area chart of domain mentions over time.
  • Hover tooltips include the selected metric, latest sentiment note, and the prompts contributing to that data point.
  • Chart automatically scales to the highest value in view. If no data exists yet, a friendly empty state explains how to get started.

Leaderboard

  • Lists the top domains and their share of prompt runs.
  • Highlights whether each domain is owned (matches your tracked domains list) or external.
  • Shows net change versus the previous window so you can spot surges quickly.

Data sources

  • Pulls from the same normalized citations that power the Sources tab.
  • Only includes prompt runs with successful analysis.
  • Time window matches the selection on the Sources tab to keep reporting consistent.

Tips

  • Add competitor domains in Company → Tracked domains for clearer labels.
  • Use prompt groups to isolate campaigns. The leaderboard will shortly support filtering by group/persona for more granular comparisons.
  • Share weekly screenshots with stakeholders to report on share-of-voice gains.
