Sources & Citations

The Sources tab aggregates citations extracted from prompt runs so you can see which domains, pages, and mentions are driving your brand’s presence in AI answers.

Filters

• Window – Aligns with other analytics tabs for consistent reporting.
• Prompt – Focus on a specific prompt or view all prompts.
• Domain – Filter citations to owned domains or competitors.
• Search – Keyword search across citation titles and URLs.

Filters persist as you move between tabs.

Overview

• Top domains – Ranked by mention volume within the selected window.
• Sources count – Total citations gathered from successful analyses.
• Sentiment note – Brief qualitative summary of recent citations.

Tables

• Domains – Mention counts, share of total citations, and last-seen timestamp.
• Prompt runs – Underlying runs that produced the citations, with links for deeper review.
• Pages – Title, URL, and mention count for each cited page.

Behavior

• Data comes from normalized prompt_run_sources produced during analysis.
• Only includes prompt runs with successful analysis status.
• Pagination uses “Load more” to step through history without heavy queries.

Troubleshooting

• Empty state – No citations? Check that analysis is enabled on your prompts and try a longer window.
• Missing domains – Add tracked domains in Company → Tracked domains.
• Stale data – Ensure analysis jobs are running; check the usage and analysis status in the dashboard.
