Overview Tab

The Overview tab acts as the home base for every workspace. It highlights installation progress, AI referral traction, and your brand’s share of voice.

Analytics setup card

• Generates a per-workspace JavaScript snippet hosted at https://cdn.chatobserver.com/js/client.min.js.
• Includes your project ID so events map to the correct workspace.
• Owners and admins can verify installation. Verification checks for the script on your primary domain and reports back with a success/warning/error state.
• Manual confirmation is available if your site blocks automated checks.

Visitor analytics strip

• Displays seven-day visit totals for each tracked AI search platform (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Bing Copilot, Gemini).
• Tiles update in real time once the snippet begins sending data.
• Tooltips explain what each metric means and when the platform last sent traffic.
• A “waiting for data” state appears until a platform generates its first session.

Brand visibility card

• Shows the share of prompt runs that mention your tracked domains versus competitors.
• Sentiment is summarized in a short text note based on recent runs.
• Clicking the card deep-links to the Sources tab with matching window filters.

Engagement highlights

• Surfaces the most recent prompt runs with successful analysis.
• Highlights notable shifts, such as spikes in mentions or changes in sentiment.
• Links to underlying runs for faster investigation.

Tips

• Install the analytics snippet early to unlock AI referral data.
• Use prompt groups to segment campaigns; related cards will respect your filters over time.
• Keep tracked domains updated so brand visibility calculations remain accurate.
